George SHIPTON arrived from England in 1906 with wife Maria and daughter Daisy. In the 1916 Canada Census he lists his occupation as "Car Repairer" with the Canadian National Railroad. He is also identified with Shipton Dairy in the 1922 Winnipeg City Directory.
