She was born in Joliet, a lifelong resident, Joliet Township High School, Class of 1942, she attended Joliet Junior Colleage and Lewis University. Christine retired from the State of Illinois, Department of Employment Security - Joliet Branch.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband; 8 brothers and sisters; and 3 grandchildren. Christine is survived by her 9 children, Robin Howland, Susan (Alvin) Gates, Robert I. Webb Jr., Penny (George) Barefield, Richard Webb, and Christopher Webb all of Joliet, Janet Webb of Skokie, Lynda Watt of Country Club Hills, and Stephen Michael (Shenoa) Webb of Hoopston, IL; 24 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mary Louise Williams, Georgia Shirley both of Joliet, and Dolores Thompson of Pembrook Twp.; nieces, nephews, and friends including dear friends, Varis Pennington and Gisella Sims.
Visitation: Thursday 2-7:00 p.m. at Range Funeral Home with funeral services Friday 10am at St. John Vianney Church, Lockport.
Interment: Abraham Lincoln Cemetery.
