Mrs. Lynden Maurer nee Barbara Jean Loth of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away in Fredericksburg on Friday, May 17th, 2013 at the age of 72 years. She was born August 30th, 1940 in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Adolph Henry Loth and Amalia Mathilda Lang Loth, graduated from St. Mary's High School, married Lynden Maurer on March 1st, 1960 in the St. Mary's Church, was a member of St. Mary's, and the Catholic Daughters.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Lynden, grandchildren Daniel & Amanda Reeh, sister, Carolyn Gold, and brother, Stanley Loth.
Barbara is survived by the following, two daughters, one son & spouses: Denise and Bruce Reeh of Fredericksburg, Kevin & Nita Maurer of Fredericksburg, Stephanie & Danny Schroat of Atkins, Texas; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, two sisters & spouses: Leroy & Lillie Loth of Hallettsville, Texas, Shirley & Calvin Moehle of Fredericksburg, David & Janet Loth of Fredericksburg, Mary & Nelson Cavin of Schertz, Texas; sisters-in-law, Lucille Scharnhorst of Blanco, Beatrice Hacker of Boerne and Lorene Pfiester of San Antonio.
Vigil-Rosary services will be held on Tuesday evening at 6:00 P. M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, with Deacon Pat Klein officiating.
Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 22th, 2013 at 10:00 A. M. in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, with Monsignor Enda McKenna officiating.
Private family interment of her cremains will take place at a later date.
