Memorial services for Mr. Tracy will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Carpenter officiating. Interment with graveside military honors will follow at Switzer Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service.
A native of Franklin County, Mr. Tracy was born June 22, 1952. He served in the United States Army, was a former employee of Yale Kentuckiana, and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Mr. Tracy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Teresa A. Moore Tracy; son, Phillip Tracy III; daughters, Shannon Tracy McCormick and Melanie A. Tracy; grandsons, Brandon Cassity, Robert Addison; and siblings, Nancy Jones, Danny Samples, Dale Dean. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brandy Tracy; his parents, Phillip "Frog" Tracy Sr. and Thelma Eversole Mitchell; and a brother, Gary Tracy.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 201 W 8th Street, Paris, KY 40361.
