Mr. Ragucci participated in the Normandy invasion during World War II. He was also an avid gardener and was well-known for his tomatoes.
He was a retired member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 358, Perth Amboy, and he worked out of IBEW Local 211, Atlantic City.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1963 and St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, both in Sea Isle City.
Born in New York City, he moved to Sea Isle City in 1971.
He is survived by his wife, Louise (McGarry); three sons, Carmine of Spotswood, Patluke of Huntsville, Ala., and John of Seaville; a daughter, Mariann Albin of Thiells, N.Y.; five brothers, Bernard of Bricktown, Joseph of New York City, Carmine and Renato of Pensacola, Fla., and Anthony of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Church, 44th Street and Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Cemetery, Ocean View.
Donations may be made to the Sea Isle City Ambulance Corps, 223 Kennedy Blvd., Sea Isle City 08243, or to the St. Joseph's Regional School Tuition Fund, 132 44th St., Sea Isle City.
Arrangements are by the Krause and Logan Funeral Home, Sea Isle City.
