Klein, Roy Harry, 75, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013 with his daughters at his side.
Roy was born on February 6, 1938 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Harvey and Louise Klein. He served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division, the "Screaming Eagles", from 1956 to 1959. On March 14, 1974, Roy married his sweetheart Salma Ore in Lima, Peru, and eventually moved to Southern California in 1975. Roy worked in the aircraft maintenance industry for several years and retired as Maintenance Chief in 1998.
He was predeceased in death by his loving wife, Salma. Roy is survived by his caring daughters, Carla and Joanna, and grandson Liam McCormick. Roy will always be known as the gentle father, an easy-going man, and for making many friends during his morning walks to get coffee and doughnuts. Roy, we love you and you will forever be missed.
Services will be held at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton, California on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 11 am.
