Raymond C. Bush, 96, of Winchester, husband of Jean Bush, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at the VA Hospital in Lexington.
A native of Stanton, KY, he was born October 23, 1918, to the late John and Cordelia Bush. He was a United States Army veteran during WWII.
Other survivors include one sister, Hoyt Bellamy, four nieces, Jerlene Rose, Diana Caudill, Patty Strange, Joyce Griffith, and one nephew, John Bellamy, seven step-children, Christine Combs, Joyce Baber, Betty Hartgrove, Bonnie Hummel, Peggy Gabbard, Lewis Tipton and Steve Tipton, also 16 step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 22, at 1:00p.m. at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., with Rev. Jesse Kline presiding. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11am until the hour of services. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Will Turner, Robert Hummel, Anthony Hummel, Barry Baber, Jeff Hartgrove, Mike Hartgrove, Derek Combs, Chad Tipton and Kyle Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Gabbard, David Combs, Charlie Compton, Bill Hummel, Lewis Tipton and Steve Tipton.
