Mrs. Sue Lee (Cowan) Ferguson, age 93, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016, at the Clinton County Hospital in Albany. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Tuesday, November 21, 1922, the daughter of Homer M. and Bessie (Cross) Cowan. She was a member of the Albany Church of the Nazarene and a Sales Clerk for Cowan’s Machine Shop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Will D. "Bud" Ferguson, a son, Donnie Ferguson, and a brother, M.V. Cowan. She is survived by two sons, Carl (and Sheila) Ferguson and Gene (and Deborah) Ferguson, all of Albany, Kentucky, a daughter-in-law, Joanie Ferguson, six grandchildren, Amanda Ferguson, Bridgitte Breitner, Brooks Ferguson, Rachel Antle, Gina Thacker, and Jeremy Ferguson, ten great-grandchildren, Gage, Kaden, Crista, Levi, Micah, Easton, Asa, Lakeen, Noah, and Luke, plus a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 17, 2016, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Shelley and Bro. Greg Wells officiating. Special singing and music was by Larry and June Spears and Libby Mullinix. Burial was in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Brooks Ferguson, Jeremy Ferguson, Lucas Thacker, Stacy Antle, Gage Martin, and Seth Breitner. Honorary Casket Bearer was Kaden Eden. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of Arrangements.
