Joyce A. Hull, 69, of New Salem, IL died Monday, May 27, 2013 at her residence. She was born July 31, 1943 in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of Charles Elmo and Dorothy Elizabeth Warren Davis. She married Donald Hull, Jr. on January 24, 1959 in Pittsfield, IL and he preceded her in death on August 27, 1979.
She is survived by her children, Jody Miller of Pittsfield and Eric (Debbie) Hull of New Salem; three grandchildren, Donnie Hull of Baylis, IL, Chris Hull and McKenzie Ballinger, both of New Salem; three great-grandchildren, Autumn, Olivia and Wyatt Hull, all of New Salem; and one sister, Beverly (Gene) Evans of Jacksonville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, twins, Randall Jay and Angela Gay Hull, in infancy; and one grandson, Zachary Rhett.
Joyce loved to read and work on word search puzzles. She enjoyed sweets and spending time tending to her flower and rock garden.
A graveside service will be held 11:15 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Baylis Cemetery.
Family will meet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the graveside service at Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Pittsfield.
