Jennifer Yvette Bolden, 16, of McGehee, died July 4, 1998, at McGehee-Desha County Hospital.

She was born on August 21, 1981, at McGehee, a daughter of Sam Bolden Jr. and Pamela Fowler Bolden of McGehee.

She was a member of McGehee Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a choir member and secretary of the Youth Department. She also attended the Upward Bound Program and was a senior at McGehee High School.

She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Sam Bolden Sr.

Other survivors include two sisters, Tara Bryant of Allport and Stephanie Bolden of Dumas; grandparents, Frank and Norris Fowler of McGehee, and Erma Bolden of Dumas; a stepsister, Kim Harmon of Dumas.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at McGehee High School Auditorium with the Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will be in Porter Cemetery at Watson by Brown Funeral Home of Dumas.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body will be at the school at 9 a.m. Thursday.
