Karl Kristofer Werder, 55, of Williamsport, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.

A memorial Mass will be Friday at noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hagerstown, with the Rev. Collin Poston as celebrant.

A graveside service will be Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Manor Cemetery, Boonsboro. Arrangements are by Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport.

Williamsport, MD - Karl Kristofer Werder, 55, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center Hagerstown, MD and gave the gift of life to Living Legacy Foundation.

Born, August 21, 1957 in Washington, D.C. to Dr. Richard H. Werder of Williamsport, MD and the late Dorothy Elizabeth Sennett Werder.

He was a 1975 graduate of Williamsport High School and received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from George Washington University.

Karl was employed by the CIA for over 20 years until his retirement. After his retirement he worked as a Contractor for the Federal Government.

He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church of Hagerstown, MD.

He was an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop #17 Boy Scouts of America.

He was a member of the NRA. He was an gun enthusiast, outdoorsman, hunter, Civil War enthusiast and Gentleman Farmer.

Loving Husband of Anne Poulin Werder whom he married Feb. 2, 2013
