William Porter Harrison, 67, died Thursday at his home here. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Carrier Harding Harrison: three sons Garvon, Leslie and Thomas Harrison, all of Scottsville; five daughters, Mrs. Mamie Leap of Scottsville, Mrs. Verna Bowen. and Miss Lelia Harrison of Charlottesville; Mrs. Clara Pritchett and Miss Ruth Harrison of Richmond; five grandchildren, two sisters Mrs. Naomi Wood of Richmond and Mrs. Lelia Black of Scottsville. Funeral rites will be held at 3 Friday with burial in Presbyterian Cemetery here.
