Lena Mary Hull, 100, of Taylorsville, MS, died Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Arrington Living Center in Collins, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at First Baptist of Taylorsville. Dr. Frankie Clark will officiate. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery.
Lena loved her family and her church family. She was a committed Christian with a great commitment to reading and studying her Bible. In her earlier years, Lena enjoyed music and served her church as church pianist. She also enjoyed flowers and was a charter member of the Taylorsville Garden Club.
Mrs. Hull is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Henry and Jannie Moss Walters; husband, Robert Ennis Hull; daughter, Evelyn Hull; brothers, Buel Walters, Cannon Walters, Varner Walters, Watson Walters; sisters, Oma Craven, Virdie Butler, Aubry Young, Kendal Atwood, Irma Jean Walters, Clyda Fae Walters.
Survivors include her sons, Ennis Earl Hull (Jeanne), Taylorsville, MS and Johnnie Edward Hull (Pam), LaFayette, GA; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hull's grandsons Keith Hull, Brian Hull, Stephen Hull, and Brad Schults will serve as pallbearers along with Larry Kelly. The deacons of First Baptist Church of Taylorsville will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville, MS which is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564. Visitation will also be held from 1:00pm until service time on Thursday at First Baptist Church of Taylorsville.
