Nellie Deane Ramsey, 91, formerly of Uniontown, died Wednesday at the Hilltop Nursing Home at Lyndon, Kan. She was born Feb 25, 1897, at Rocky Comfort, Mo., the daughter of Henry Boone and Madosa Ann Brown Kelly. She married Dr. Arch L. Ramsey Nov. 11, 1919, at Anderson, Mo. He died Jan. 15, 1979.

Mrs. Ramsey was a member of the Church of Christ at Neosho, Mo. She was a member of Mary A. Hepler Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Uniontown. For 65 years she attended the United Methodist Church at Uniontown where she taught Sunday school was a member of the United Methodist Women's Organization. She had been a member of an Extension Homemaker unit and was a 4-H leader for many years. Mrs. Ramsey worked for the unification of the present USD-235 at Uniontown.

Survivors include three sons, James Lynne Ramsey, Fort Scott, Harold Ramsey, Raleigh, N.C. and William R. Ramsey, Oklahoma City, Okla.; a daughter, Mrs. Carrol Niles, Lyndon, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Lou Davis and the Rev. Bill Hurtig will conduct services at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Uniontown United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in the Uniontown Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at the Uniontown United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to the Uniontown United Methodist Church.
