Mrs. Thelma Palmer Lacy of Halifax, VA passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at her home. She was born September 5, 1914 in Halifax County, VA and was 100 years old. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Palmer and Eunice Hudson Palmer and was married to the late Daniel Epps Lacy, Sr.
She was a member of the Dan River Baptist Church and the Retired Teacher's Association.
A Graveside service will be held Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at the Dan River Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
