Jan 28, 1938 - Humboldt Republican - Livermore — The sixtieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. W.D. McCullough will be observed here February 6, at the home of their daughter Mrs. Bertha Wilson, with whom they have been living during the past two years.

Mrs. McCullough is 80, and Mr. McCullough has passed his eighty fourth birthday. Mrs. McCullough suffered a stroke a few weeks ago and has been confined to her bed since. It is her desire that some of her close friends visit her, and it is the plan of the daughter to have open house on the date of their anniversary for only a brief period of perhaps an hour, and a short program is being arranged for, in accordance with the mother's wish.

Before coming to Livermore the McCullough's lived at Marathon and they still have their home there. During their more active life, they were both greatly interested in church work, and devoted their extra time to that interest.

They have beside the daughter one, a son, Marlon McCullough of Enid, Okla. There are also nine grandchildren.
