Dr. Frederick F. Burmeister served during the Civil War as a Surgeon in the 69th Pennsylvania Infantry. He also served as an Assistant Surgeon in the 73rd Pennsylvania Infantry.

BURMEISTER - Dr. FREDERICK F. BURMEISTER, a druggist, doing business at No. 1942 Frankford avenue, died at his home in this city on Monday. Deceased was surgeon of the Sixty-ninth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, Colonel Owen, from December 1862, until July, 1865, when mustered out of service.

BURMEISTER - Dr. F. F. BURMEISTER, late surgeon of Sixty-ninth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers, died on the 15th inst. Funeral from the residence of his brother-in-law, E. Poulson, Esq., at No. *208 N. Thirty-fifth street, this morning, at 10 A. M. His army and Masonic friends are invited.
