Altogether they had eight children in 13 years. Twins, Catherine and Elizabeth born in 1844 may have died before the family immigrated to America with the two oldest children, Jane and James, during the time of the Great Irish Famine between 1848 and 1850. Patrick died on September 3, 1880, in Yonkers, New York, at the age of 52, and was buried here in St Mary's Cemetery. Margaret passed on Sept 1 1892 at her home on 2 Washington Ave in Yonkers.
