Kathryn Mullen

Kathryn Jane Mullen, 96, of Prices Drive, Mountainhome, died Wednesday afternoon, April 13, 1988 at home.

Born May 29, 1891 in Manchester, New Hampshire, she was a daughter of the late William and Jane Mallen Murphy.

A Kingston resident most of her life, she formerly resided at 443 N. Maple Avenue for 46 years, and for the past six years lived in the Poconos.

She was a former member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston, and its Altar and Rosary Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 1969, son, Robert, in 1977: daughter, Mrs. Agnes Mangan in 1982: and a sister, Margaret Mullen in 1979.

Surviving are daughters, Sister Robertus. I. H.M., Marywood College: Sister Adele, I.H.M., with whom she resided: Flora Mullen, Potomac, Md., four grandchildren; six great-children.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the Maher-Collins Funeral Home, 360 N. Maple Ave., Kingston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St. Ignatius Church.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Friends may call this evening, 6 to 9. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marian Convent, Marywood College, Scranton.
