Melody Lea Green, 25, a receptionist for the Dallas Cowboys organization, died Wednesday in a Dallas hospital of injuries received in a traffic accident in Irving.

A resident of Irving at the time of her death, members of her family are now or former Garland residents.

Ms. Green was born Oct. 19, 1960, in Fort Worth. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas and attended Eastfield College.

She is survived by her mother, Nina M. Green of Dallas; father, O.T. Green of Fort Worth; brothers, Truett Green of Fort Worth, Clyde Green of Rowlett, Kenneth Kasberg of Dallas, David Kasberg of Garland and John Kasberg of Birmingham, AL; sisters Debra K. Adams, Joy Lovelady and Wanda Melder all of Dallas, Shirlee Ellis of Austin, Glenda Mack of Wylie and Terry Lynn Green of Fort Worth.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Alton Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Wylie Cemetery.
