Christopher Allen Hays
Roseville June 2,1953 - April 10, 1996
Christopher Allen Hays, a native of Pasadena and a resident of Roseville the past 12 years, died Wednesday of a sudden heart attack at the age of 42.
Mr. Hays lived in Odessa, Texas, for 10 years, Walnut Creek for four years, Farmington, Michigan, for one year, and Wichita, Kansas for five years.
He graduated from California State University, Sacramento, in 1977 with a bachelor of science degree in construction engineering.
The senior vice president of LaSalle Advisors was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Roseville, former Roseville city planning commissioner, soccer coach, Sunday school teacher, and a member of Promise Keepers.
He will be remembered for his caring ways and his sense of humor.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Roseville, 515 Sunrise Ave. Burial will be private.
Mr. Hays is survived by his wife, Nancy McGinness Hays of Roseville; his daughters Alissa, Bethany, and Emilee Hays; his parents, Ronald E. and Beverly E. Hays of Sun City, Ariz; his mother- and father-in-law, Jackie and Bryce McGinness; his brothers Gene Hays of Oxford, Miss. and Russ Hays of Modesto; and many other family members and friends.
