Patricia was The only child born to Morris Berry Glinn and Louise Maude LaCaze. Her grandparents on her mother's side immigrated to the United States from France. Her ancesters on her father's side migrated to Grimmett after the Civil war. Her GG grandfather was the first Postmaster in Grimmett. She lived her entire life in New Orleans, where she lost two houses she owned during hurricane Katrina. Pat would her grandparents Archie and Bina Glinn in West Plains Mo. when she was a teenager. Her father and mother divorced when Pat was a child and she lived with her mother and grandmother in New Orleans.

Pat's life partner was William Eugene Autry. She knew at an early age she did not want to have children nor marry. Pat had no family left in New Orleans and her and Bill choose to be buried with her grandparents in West Plains. She had fond memories spending time with grandmother Glinn.
