Albert C. Ortiz Jr., 63 passed away Thursday May 13, 1993 after a sudden illness.
He lived in Corpus Christi all his life. He had served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a TV and Radio Technician, owning a shop on Leopard Street until he became employed with Frank Casing Crew many years ago, as a shop foreman. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Manuela Ortiz.
He is survived by his former wife, Gloria F. Ortiz of Corpus Christi; four sons, Albert F. (Dora) Ortiz of Mathis, Texas, Ismael F. (Elizabeth) Ortiz, Daniel F. Ortiz and Israel Ortiz all of Corpus Christi; two daughters, Anna G. (Joe) Puente and Ava G. (Roel) Escobar, both of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Delia (Pablo) Sanchez and Beatrice (Johnny) Gonzales, both of Corpus Christi; 12 grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited 6 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 1993 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors Everhart Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Monday May 17, 1993 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
