Rites Held For Mrs. Kuntschik

Last rites held today, Monday, at 10 a.m. from the St. James Catholic Church for Mrs. Anton (Mary Josephine) Kuntschik, who died at 2:15 p.m. Friday at the family residence on Route 1, Harwood.
The Rev. Wenzel Lieb, pastor, conducted the service with burial following in the St. James Catholic cemetery. A rosary service was conducted at Seydler-Hill funeral chapel Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Kuntschik was born in Moulton on January 6, 1900, the daughter of August and Wilhelmina Waack Hohensee, natives of Germany. She was married to Anton John Kuntschik on January 18, 1921. A member of St. James Catholic Church, she was also a former member of the St. James Altar Society.
Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Keck of Beaumont; Mrs. AnnetteBurger, Gonzales; five sons, Melvin and Calvin Kuntschik, both of Gonzales, John Raymond and Clarence Kuntschik, all of art. 1, Harwood; 14 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs.Josie Hudson ofSouth HillVa.; and two brothers, Rudy Hohensee of Miles; and Joe Hohensee of Moulton.
