Born on May 18, 1926 in Hazard, Kentucky; she was the daughter of the late Chester and Emma Walker Sword.
She was a loving mother and devoted wife.
Those left to cherish her memory included her husband of 66 years, Dwight F. Sims; grandson, Jason Everest and fiancé Felecia Robson; and her siblings and families; John D. Sword, Mary Marcum and Ann Baker.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, her children, Darryl Sims and Rebecca Everest and by her brother, Charles Sword.
