Ella Mildred Barker Street, age 91, passed away December 5, 2003. Surrounded by family, her passing was peaceful as she was reunited with her husband, Wallace Street, who had been sent ahead 30 years ago.
Ella was born Nov. 28, 1912 in Lamar, Colorado,
the daughter of James Barker and Mabel Frederick Barker. Ella was raised in Park City, Utah where she met and married her husband after a short courtship on May 26, 1928 in Heber City, Utah.

Together, Ella and Wallace had 12 children: William, David, Dean, Donald, Gerald, Virgil, Ella Mae, James, Dan, Dayle, Gayle, Chris and spouses. Ella was very proud of her 29 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren and was always talking about them.

Ella worked in many professions during her long life. Throughout her life she enjoyed crocheting, painting, gardening, crossword puzzles and reading.

Services in honor of Ella M. Street will be held Thursday, December 11, 2003, 12 noon, at the Meadows Ward, 5735 S. Fashion Blvd. Friends and family may call Wednesday, December 10th, 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State and Thursday at the church from 10:30-11:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
