Mrs L A Walker, widow of the late L A Walker, died of pneumonia yesterday afternoon at her home, 1210 Calhoun Street. Mrs Walker was originally from Fairfield County but had made her home in Columbia for the past several years.
She is survived by six children, L A Walker, Jr, Orangeburg; J R Walker, Atlanta; Mrs G A Isaacson, New York City; R O Walker, Aiken; C R Walker, Camp Sevier; Mrs Ernest Goodrum, Columbia; and two sisters, Mrs C K Morrison, Morrison, Ga, and Mrs G B Boozer, Columbia.
Mrs Walker was a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church of Columbia, and has many friends here and in Fairfield who will regret to learn of her death.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at Elmwood Cemetery at 4 o'clock.∼Daughter of E. W. (VA) and Ann Murphy (SC) Olliver. Widow of Lloyd Alex Walker.
