Mary J. Franks, 59, of 2116 46th St., Moline, died today at Lutheran Hospital.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Esterdahl Mortuary, Moline, with the Rev. Richard A. Herath of Wesley United Methodist Church, Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Garden, East Moline.

Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetic Association.

The former Mary J. Edmonds was born in Mount Carroll. She married Floyd (sic) N. Franks in December 1943 in Mount Carroll.

She was a warehouse clerk at the Jaydon Distribution Co., Milan, for 23 years, last working in April 1983.

She was a member of the East End Bolders Club, Moline.

Survivors include the widower; a son, Edward L., Moline; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Sontag, Fort Wayne, Ind., Lucille Katzenburger, Delavan, Wis., Lois Williams, Freeport, and Vera Kathryn Goff, Elkhorn, Wis., and a brother Kenneth Edmonds, Merrill, Wis.
