Randy Dale Wesley, 59, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Marion County Regional Hospital after a brief illness. A graveside service will be at 4:00 PM Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols directed by Richardson Funeral Home with visitation at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.

Born in Marion County, Mr. Wesley was the only child of Bobby and Hazel Odom Wesley. He graduated in 1974 from North Myrtle Beach High School, excelling in football and being named to All-State Chorus. Currently, he served as a food safety consultant for ISE America after working for many years in the food and beverage industry with national companies such as Ecolab and Chemidyne. Knowing every word to every Jimmy Buffet song, he introduced his wife and many friends to Buffet's music and the fun to be had by Parrotheads at Buffet concerts. He loved spending time with family and friends and cooking for them at the Wesley's cabin on the Grainger Millpond in Horry County, he also enjoyed golfing and played many rounds with his friends at Dusty Hills Country Club, showing off an unorthodox but effective swing.

Mr. Wesley is survived by his wife of 30 years, Judy Shelley Wesley, his grandmother Leona Capps Odom, and his uncle Jimmy Odom, both of Marion. He is also survived by his many beloved Wesley cousins and his eighteen year old cat Boo.
