Josephine G. DeFalco, Our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother died January 21, 2013 in Longwood, FL. She was a first generation American born in Pittston, PA on April 24, 1919, to Samuel and Grace Graci of San Caltaldo, Italy. She will be met by her husband, Ralph DeFalco of 34 years; her mother, father, five brothers and one sister. She worked as a bookkeeper during World War II at the Naval Supply Depot in Mechanicsburg, PA, a retail manager at Jocobson's in the fur department and she and her husband owned DeFalco's Pizzeria from the late 50's to the early 60's and a jewelry store in Columbus, OH.

She loved dancing, the opera and listening to Italian music. She was a strong opinionated and very modern woman. Family and friends were everything to her. She loved to cook, spent hours playing cards and having family get togethers. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Carmela Guzzi and Mrs. Grace Lupas of Marietta, Georgia and Mrs. Sarah Marra of Lewiston, New York; three daughters, Camille (Bill) Miller of Jackson, MI, Rebecca DeFalco of Cave Creek, AZ and Jora (Mark) Young of Longwood, FL and one son, Mark DeFalco of Bozeman, MT, nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She has been cremated and will be truly missed by all her family and friends. A Mass to celebrate her will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church on February 9, 2013.
