CORRIGANVILLE — Catherine Orpha Crabtree, 95, of Corriganville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Born Feb. 14, 1915, in Corriganville, Mrs. Crabtree was the daughter of the late David Mosser and Martha (Lapp) Mosser-Barncord. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Chester Crabtree, Dec. 1, 1993; and three brothers, Alin Mosser, David Mosser, and Edward Barncord.

A homemaker, Catherine was a member of Saint John's United Church of Christ, Corriganville. She was also a ladies aid of the church and a member of the McKinley Chapter 556 Order of the Eastern Star.

Catherine is survived by her son, Terry A Crabtree and his wife, Waneta, Annapolis; her sister, Louise Clites; Corriganville; her grandsons, Kevin and Brian Crabtree; and her great-grandchildren, Bryce and Brooke Crabtree.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Tomislav Dosch officiating.

Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
