Kenneth D. East
Kenneth D. East, 77, of 376 E. Burdick Road, died Wednesday at Porter Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 20, 1905, the son of Daniel and Olive (Laundres) East. On June 27, 1953 he married Elizabeth Wesemann who survives.
A Porter County resident for 25 years, he was a retired painter and decorator and a World War II Navy veteran.
Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Charles Whalen of Florida.
Memorial services 11 a.m. Saturday at White Funeral Home, Chesterton; the Rev. Robert Duncan officiating; no visitation; the body will be cremated; memorials to the charity of choice.
