PAUL NATHAN VARNER, age 20, Friday, April 29, 2005. Beloved Son of Don & Linda Varner. Dear Brother of Adam, Rachel & Kristina Varner, Grandson of Virginia L. & the late Reuben R. Deines and Thelma J. & the late Dwight R. Varner, Nephew of David & Dale Deines, Nancy (Roger) Graham & Rev. Gerald Varner. A friend of many. Paul was born in Houston and lived there until he was 12, when the family relocated to Wildwood, Missouri. He and his family belonged to St. Luke's United Methodist Church and later attended St. Philip's United Methodist Church in Houston. Paul was a 2003 graduate of Lafayette High School where he was active in the ROTC, wrestling & the stage crew for drama productions. He was a member of Ellisville United Methodist Church & had been active in the Youth Choir & Youth Group. Paul was serving his country in the U.S. Army as Private Second Class (PV2) at Fort Polk, LA. He was killed accidentally during a training exercise at Fort Chaffee, AR. Funeral arrangements are planned at Ellisville United Methodist Church, 15977 Clayton Rd., Friday, 11:00am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Thursday 3-8pm. If desired, contributions may be made to Camp Barnabas, Route 2, Box 131 Purdy, MO 65734 or the Building Fund at Ellisville United Methodist Church, 15977 Clayton Road Ellisville, MO 63011.
