Mildred I. "Midge" Kuhn, Greenville, passed away Saturday morning (5-25-13) at home. She was 88.

She was born Feb. 16, 1925, in Greenville, to Glenn and Gertrude (Barrett) First. She married Arthur W. Kuhn on Feb. 8, 1943. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2007.

She was a homemaker.

She was a life-member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville.

She was a former member of Greenville Family Moose Lodge 276.

She enjoyed music, and taught herself to play piano and organ.

Her lifetime joy was raising her 10 children and she especially enjoyed playing with her grandchildren.

She is survived by four daughters: Nancy Carr and her husband William, Karen Ondo and her husband Jim, Kim Hills and her husband Dale, all of Greenville, and Terri Marotta and her husband Frank of Cleveland, Ohio; four sons, Ronald W. Kuhn and his wife Ruth, and Randy M. Kuhn and his wife Sylvia, both of Greenville, Larry A. Kuhn and his wife Liz of Mannheim, Germany, and William R. Kuhn of Johnstown, Pa.; 31 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Ann Kuhn; a son Robert G. Kuhn and his wife Betty; a great-granddaughters, Destiny Kuhn; and four sisters, Lucille Aiken, Marion Eckles, Margaret "Rita" See and Theresa Hayes.
