Myron O. "Mo" Little, 85, Kokomo, formerly of Logansport, passed away at 2:10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at his residence. He was born Jan. 22, 1924, in Logansport, to Sampson L. Little and Elba (Waters) Little. He was first married on Oct. 14, 1947, to Marybelle "Mickie" Hendryx Rearick, who preceded him in death on April 17, 1990. On Oct. 29, 1990, in Kokomo, he was married to Pat Hines Holland, who survives.

"Mo" was retired as co-founder of Central Paving. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, where he flew Naval blimps, "Mo" was a member of the American Legion Post 60 and VFW Post 3790 and a former member of the Elks. He enjoyed playing golf and cards. He and his wife enjoyed dancing, cruising, traveling and spending winters in Florida. Mo was a hard-working man who loved the paving business.

Survivors include daughter, Kathi and husband Dave Baxter, Logansport; son, Michael Little and Karen Powers, Indianapolis; sister, Harriet and husband Vernon Clem, Nicholasville, Ky.; stepdaughter, Sondra and husband Chuck Spradling, Logansport; stepsons, Kevin and wife Nancy Hardie, Noblesville, and Barry and wife Valerie Holland, Florence, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Janet Berridge, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Wanda Hendryx Wilson, Pittsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Judith Rearick Robinson.

Memorial service with full military honors will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo, with Pastor Barry Holland officiating. Visiting hours are 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mayo Clinic, 200 1st Street SW, Rochester, MN 55905. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
