"On Sunday September 17, 1905 at 10:40 o'clock a.m., Catherine Kastner nee catherine Lotz, wife of the late John Gaus, aged 71 years, a native of Alsace, and a resident of this city for the past fifty-two years [died].
The relatives, friends and acquaintances of the family and the officers and members of the Ladies Independent Mutual Benevolent Association, also the Ladies' Independent Benevolent Association of the Third District, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will take place on Monday September 18, at 3:00 o'clock p.m from the residence of her son John Kastner, No. 1517 Mandeville Street, between Robertson and Clairborne Avenue.
