1937-2008 Ann C. Robinson, 71, St. Joseph, formerly of Maryville, MO, passed away September 12, 2008. She was born February 17, 1937 in St. Joseph. She married Theodore G. Robinson on August 5, 1961. He survives of the home. Mrs. Robinson was a graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She taught second grade in Denver, Colorado, Prairie Village, Kansas and in St. Louis, MO. She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter L, Maryville, and recently dimitted to Chapter FL, St. Joseph, Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority AM Chapter, a Patroness for Alpha Sigma Alpha at Northwest Missouri State University, and served on the Library Board, in Maryville, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Reid and Esther (Warner) Cowan. Additional Survivors: daughters, Jennie Robinson Sommers, and husband, Dan, St. Joseph, and Susan Robinson, Prairie Village, KS; son, James G. Robinson and wife, Andrea, St. Joseph; brother, T.R. Cowan, and wife Linda, Fallbrook, CA; six grandchildren, Danny, Harry, Teddy, and George Sommers, and Liz and Mitchelle Robinson; and two nieces. Memorial Service: 3 p.m. Wednesday, Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church. Services under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The Family suggests memorial gifts to the Noyes Home, 801 N. Noyes Blvd, St. Joseph, MO. 64506.
