Mrs. Ruthie M. Brooks, 88, of Newnan, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, at Starcrest of Newnan.
Mrs. Brooks was born June 21, 1912, in Newnan. She was a retired textile worker.
A funeral will be held today, Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at 2 p.m. at East Newnan Baptist Church. The Rev. Frank Powers will officiate, and burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Surviving are her son, Tony Brooks of Marietta; her sisters Alice Borders of Newnan and Erlena Craig of Smyrna; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
