Young Mother and Infant Babe Die
Rev. Walter E. Vater, pastor of the McCabe Methodist Episcopal church, went to Almont today to officiate this afternoon at the funeral services of Mrs. John Austin Baillet and her infant babe. Both died shortly after the birth of the baby at the Baillet home Thursday. Rev. Vater officiated at the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Baillet less than a year ago at the Methodist parsonage here, and the double bereavement is especially sad to the husband and other relatives because of the young mother's untimely death. Mrs. Baillet before her marriage was Miss Clara Knudson of Almont. Mr. Baillet formerly lived at Willa.
