Amber J. Anderson, age 28 of North Branch died on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Life is a story. A series of stories, strung together as moments…moments that we share with others, that later become memories. We get to choose parts of our story, while other portions are given to us, like predetermined groundwork. Amber was given a unique story, one that included challenges of disability that most of us will never struggle with, but in return, she was blessed with a patience and a peace that most of us will never learn. Her purpose on earth was to touch lives, which she did quietly and with permanence. She taught us with her soft brown eyes, gave us pause with her warm smile, and reminded us of the importance of simple happiness. She lived as we should: simply, taking notice of the warm sunshine on your skin, the lingering fragrance of flowers, the taste of your favorite food upon your tongue. She knew to live gently and with pure heart. Amber Jaye Anderson passed away on May 24, 2013 at 28 years of age.
