Graveside service for Mrs. Betty Holley Ivey, age 78 of Fayetteville will be conducted Sunday at 4 pm at Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens with Rev. Emerson Lyles and Rev. Brian Gass officiating. Mrs. Ivey passed away Saturday in Huntsville Hospital.

A native of Montgomery, AL, she was the daughter of the late William Batson and Elizabeth Williams Holley. She was a retired school teacher and member of the Howell First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school.

Survivors include her husband Walter Kenneth Ivey Sr. of Fayetteville, daughter Cathy Gray and husband Bob of Fayetteville, son Kenny Ivey and wife Debra of Ardmore, TN grandchildren Laura Stevens and husband Johnny, Drew Ivey and wife Katheryn, Jenny Flanigan and husband David, Rob Gray, Holley Gray, Mary Gray, and Morgan Ivey, two great grandchildren Cooper Stevens, and Hayden Ivey, brother Billy Holley and wife Jody, brother in-law Wayne Ivey and wife Ann of Madison, AL nieces and nephews, Mrs. Ivey was preceded in death by a grandson Christian Gray.

A church service in Mrs. Ivey's honor will be held in conjunction with the 11 o'clock service tomorrow at Howell First Baptist Church.
