He is survived by a sister, Ila Pearl Carpenter of Waterloo, AR; a brother, Luther Dillard Gordon of Texarkana, AR; a nephew, Danny Riggs Gordon of Texarkana and a niece Alice Bennett of W. Monroe, LA.
Funeral service was April 1, 2002 at the Gravelly Methodist Church with burial at the Monroe Cemetery in Harvey, AR. Service under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron, AR. Pallbearers were Jim Roberson, Roy Lee Austin, Rod Rupe, David Anderson, Spencer Allen and Allen Ray Austin.
