William Gus (Willie) Eisen, 86, died March 1, 2003, at his home in Harrison, Ark. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday March 5 at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Nebhut officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery at Priddy.
Mr. Eisen was born December 25, 1916 at Clinton, Okla., the son of John and Christine Feldman Eisen.
At an early age the family moved to Hamilton County were he grew up. He was a veteran serving in the Navy during World War II. Willie was united in marriage to Frieda Wahl August 22, 1953 at Aleman, Texas. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather.
Mr. Eisen was a farmer, stockman and livestock trader and a member of the Lutheran Church.
He is preceded in death by a son, Larry Willie Eisen who died in infancy; two sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Frieda Eisen of Harrison, Ark.; one son, Elroy Wahl and his wife Sharron of Everton, Ark.; two grandchildren, Eddie Wahl and his wife Brenda and John Dyson and his wife Kelly, all of Harrison, Ark.; four grandchildren, Ethan Wahl, Paige Wahl, Craig Dyson and Katie Dyson; one sister, Martha Blacklock of Fort Worth,; one brother, Rudolph Eisen of Hamilton and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ray Lubke, Karl Obst, Paul Obst, Gene Rosentreter, E.E. Schrank and Paul Eisen.
