After a hard struggle attended by much suffering Little Grace Venette, four year old daughter of Mrs. Winifred Venette, who resides two miles south of Lafayette, died at the Longmont hospital Wednesday afternoon, May 18. The little girl was taken to the hospital about five weeks ago, and there underwent an operation for appendicitis. Other complications followed and although everything possible was done for her she was unable to withstand the ravages of the disease. Funeral services were held at St. Ida's church this morning conducted by Father Robert Murray, and the remains were laid to rest in Green Mountain cemetery at Boulder.
