Died 5-28-89 after participating as a Color Guard, in the Memorial March around the Capital grounds Sunday. He was a Capitol Hill High School graduate, Navy Veteran of WW II, Korea, and Vietnam, retired from USMC 8-1-68 after 22 years, 6 months, and 20 days of service. Retired Tinker AFB 8-3-87. Member of the Marine Corp League, Devil Dogs, DAV veterans council, Chosin Few, New Bern Consistory, VA Blue Lodge, and Foresters. Was married to the former Ann Guest 6-28-53 in OKC. Survived by wife Ann of the home; son Robert A. Bush,; daughter and son-in-law, Robin Ann, and Peter J. Spangenberg of OKC, daughter Dawn Mary Bush of the home; grandsons, Joseph Brent and Jason Daniel Spangenberg; sisters, Ruth Harris of OKC, Helen Walters of Joshea Tree, CA, Frances Malone of Bethany, Irene Ray of Blue Springs, MO, Mary McHard of OKC, and father-in-law, Stanley E. Guest of Eufaula. Services will be 6-1-89, at 2pm, at the Resthaven Chapel, burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
