Mrs. Vera B. Coggin, 86, of Providence Church Road, Newnan, died December 6, 2000 at Beaulieu nursing home in Newnan.

Mrs. Coggin was born December 14, 1913 in Opp, Alabama. She was a homemaker and member of Overcoming Faith Baptist Church.

A funeral will be held at graveside in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan Saturday, Dec. 9 at 2:30 p.m. with borther Roy Lee Coggin officiating.

Surviving are daughter, Darlene Hopson of Newnan; sons, Robert W. Coggin, Joseph G. Coggin and Roy Lee Coggin Jr., all of Newnan; sister, Lola Brock of Rising Fawn, Ga.; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
