Charles E. Murphy Charles Edward Murphy, 83, of Manila, Utah, died July 18, 1994 in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He was born August 27, 1910 in Waterbury, Connecticut to Daniel Lynch and Elizabeth Ring Murphy. Married Florence Marie Charlotte Wurm August 17, 1946 In Waterbury, Conn.

He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge #256 in Connecticut. Veteran of WWII and a guidance counselor in the Connecticut Education System for 40 years.

Survived by his wife, Florence of Manila, three sons, one daughter Cem Edward of Winnemussa, Nev; Daniel Andrew of Rescue, Calif.; Kevin of Evanston, Wyo.; Deborah Holland (teacher at Shelly Elementary) of Lehi. Ten grandchildren; one sister Frances Klesch of Waterbury, Conn.; two nieces, one nephew.

Funeral services will be Thursday 11 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary 49 E. 100 North American Fork where friends may call Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Burial in American Fork Cemetery.
