Mrs. Helen Ursula Fowler was born in Three Rivers Michigan September 19, 1843, and died in Leslie Michigan, December 2, 1905, in her 64th year of life. She was married to Milan Fowler in 1875 and there were born to them a daughter, Ruby and two sons, Alvah and Anson. The daughter died two years ago, but her husband and sons, with other relatives remain to mourn their loss.
She was a kind and loving wife and mother, and a sincere Christian and a member of the Methodist church, Tho she suffered long and at times severly, she was patient and resigned and at the last greatly longed to go home and be at rest.
The funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. W.W. Lamport, at the Methodist church on Tuesday afternoon with burial in Woodlawn cemetery.
