Born on April 18, 1961 in Fairfield, Iowa, she was the daughter of Leroy M. Smith Sr. and Velma M. Robinson.
Denise was a housewife. She enjoyed watching WWE professional wrestling on TV, taking photos with disposable cameras, the freedom of driving her car and frequenting the YMCA. She was a kind, generous, loyal, giving person who loved spending time with her family, often by solving word search puzzles with them. She was a member of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy Milton Smith Jr.
