She was born June 30, 1957, in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Herbert R. Amos Sr. and Vergie Amos who survives in Elkins.
On October 31, 1977, in Elkins, she was married to Donald L. Cooper who preceded her in death Sept. 5, 1987.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Laura and Rhonda Cooper, of home; one brother, Herbert Amos, Jr., Clarksburg; three sisters, Mrs. Joe "Linda" Butcher, Mrs. Hershel "Patty: Stone, both of Elkins' Betty Coberly, Junior.
Mrs. Cooper attended the schools of Clarksburg and Elkins and was a licensed beautician.
She was a former employee of Bata Shoe Company and the Reidboard Company.
